HVAC Business Owner, paid advisory interview
HireLoft is researching the operational and technology challenges HVAC businesses face. We pay experienced owners and operators for a one-hour remote interview.
About the interview
We are talking with current and former HVAC company owners, general managers, and operations leaders about how the business actually runs. The goal is to understand where time and money leak, and what owners have already tried to fix.
Expect a relaxed, structured conversation. We walk through your process from the moment a lead comes in to the day the invoice is paid, and dig into the parts that stall, get dropped, or eat your team's day.
What we will talk about
- Lead intake, scheduling, and dispatch
- Estimating and quote follow-up
- Customer communication and reviews
- Technician productivity and admin work
- The software you use, and the software you hate
Who should apply
- You currently own or manage an HVAC service business
- You have at least three years in the trade
- You understand day-to-day operations and purchasing decisions
- You can join a recorded video call, with your consent
This is not a sales seat and not a full-time job. You will not be asked to buy anything. Selected participants may be invited to further paid interviews or optional advisory work, but no continuing work is guaranteed, and payment does not depend on it.
Participation is a one-time independent advisory and research engagement. Recording happens only with your explicit consent. Your company details are kept confidential.
